Two months ago my world came crashing to a halt
Recently someone floored it and sped away

Without directions or map
I'm speeding down roads I've never been on
Yet they seem so familiar

Darkness engulfs me
I can't see were I'm going
But there's a light in the distance

I aim for the light
But as it come closer my eyes begin to focus

I slam on the brakes
But its too late
I've killed every ounce of control I had in my life
just a train of thought I thought fits better as a poem then a journal

and I'm not saying any of this is a bad thing I really don't know yet

It's really well written. It doesn't seem sad, yet a mix of emotions. I like it ^_^

its not suppose to be sad. I'm actually quite happy with how things are turning out. This is just s train of thought I had while driving to work today.

Its one big metaphor. My friendship with my best friend has taken an interesting twist. I like it. It's fun. But I have lost every bit of control of my self I had gained this past year and a half and that is what I'm not sure if it's good or bad yet. This probably doesn't make sense to you but it does to me and hopefully to the other person involved.

aww, little anna. my dad read me stories like Go Dog Go, sang me messed-up versions of lullabys such as Jack and Jill, and taught me big words when he helped me with my homework. Most of the time we ate peanut M&M's while doing so, esp. while reading Go Dog Go.

My daddy helped me with homework too sometimes but before middleschool it was mommy that helped me with homework.
